About Sidney Smyl
I am a proud St. Paul local licensed in residential & rural real estate. I have a passion for helping clients find their place, whether it’s their very first home, a family upgrade, or a peaceful retreat on the lake. I truly believe that the right home can change everything, and I’m here to help you make that exciting move with confidence.
Before becoming a licensed Realtor® in January 2024, I worked as a Social Media Director & Unlicensed Listing Coordinator at Royal Lepage Hometown Real Estate in April 2023, where I learned how to market homes in a way that gets them noticed. But my roots in the industry go back even further. I grew up helping my mom with her home interiors business, where I developed a keen eye for design, staging, and showcasing properties in their best light.
I spent my early years watching my dad sell cars at Smyl Motors, and later I joined the family business at Smyl RV, selling what I like to call “homes on wheels.” That experience taught me the importance of really listening to people’s needs and matching them with a space that fits their lifestyle—whether they’re setting out on an adventure or planting roots in our community.
Today, I get to use all of that experience to serve my clients—from first-time buyers navigating the market for the first time, to sellers preparing their homes to stand out, to families searching for that perfect property. I know how big of a decision buying or selling a home can be, and my goal is to make the process as smooth, informed, and enjoyable as possible.
